Qualifications:
High
school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate
college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at
an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Requirements:
Good
office organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication
skills with correct grammar usage and spelling, computer skills to

telephone etiquette. Ability to use general office equipment; plan,
organize, and prioritize work assignments; solve problems; and
understand and apply University rules and regulations. Police
background check and proof of valid State of Florida/Class E driver's
license required.
Responsibilities:
Incumbent
functions as the main point of contact for all telephone inquiries and
visitors to the Florida State University College of Medicine Orlando
Regional Campus. Greets all guests, screens telephone calls, provides
general information, and redirects inquiries to the appropriate
staff. Screens incoming mail and assists with preparation of outgoing
correspondence to include large mail merges. Assists with faculty
management including recruiting process, maintenance of records in
hard-copy files and electronic database, and coordination of continuing
medical education events. Performs a variety of clerical functions to
include preparation of flyers, correspondence, reports, and forms.
Copies and collates documents, maintains files, and orders supplies as
needed. Records minutes from biweekly staff meetings. Assists in
scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, preparing travel
arrangements and itineraries, and completing errands when required.
Schedule:
Monday
through Friday 8am-5pm. May require occasional early morning,
evening, or weekend hours, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
